Admission Requirements and Conditions
Photos must be provided when requested. Vendors are accepted at the Festival’s discretion.
Acceptance/Cancellation Policy:
Notice of acceptance or non-acceptance will be emailed to applicant. The Festival reserves the right to refuse any application. No refunds will be given for fees, unless request is made at least 30 days prior to the Festival and space can be resold. In all events, cancellations by Vendor are subject to a $50 cancellation fee and there are no refunds granted for cancellations within 30 days of event. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather. No refunds granted for Vendor that do not show up and they are subject to not being invited back to festival.
Cancellation Clause:
Cancellation by ABC Events, Inc.: ABC Events, Inc. may at any time prior to commencement of the Festival or any Operating Hours, in its sole discretion, terminate and void this Agreement for any of the following reasons: (a) inclement weather; (b) cancellation of the right to use the site (the “Site”) for the Festival; (c) conditions at the Site shall render the Site impractical for the operation of the Festival; or (d) the Vendor’s inability to perform under this Agreement, as determined by festival in its reasonable judgment. Vendor hereby expressly waives any and all claims for damages, loss of profit or any other compensation against the Festival, ABC and their owners, members, officers, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) should this Agreement be so terminated.
Space:
Your space fee entitles you to an 10' or 20' ft area or size noted above. Vendors can put up tents and cook and serve directly from their tent. You may not enlarge your space outside the assigned area without festival approval. You must provide your own electricity, tent, tables, etc. Ice will be available for sale on-site. There are no restrictions on signage but it must remain within the confines of your space.
Operating Hours:
Vendors are expected to be open for business during all Festival Operating Hours. Breakdown will not be permitted early without prior agreement with your festival representative. Anyone arriving late, leaving before closing or breaking down during Festival show hours without permission from the show chair may be denied entrance to future Festivals.
Parking & Traffic:
All exhibitors MUST follow Festival personnel directions regarding vehicles on grounds during the Festival. When unloading, all vendors are expected to unload and then move vehicles to the designated parking area before setting up their tent. During Festival breakdown, traffic will not be permitted on Festival grounds until approval is given by Festival security. Anyone entering the grounds in their vehicle without consent may be denied access to future Festivals. Due to space limitations, additional vehicles and/or trailers are not permitted in your immediate area.
Set up and Break down:
Vendors may set up anytime on Friday beginning at 1:00pm, but must arrive by 6pm. Gates open at 7am Saturday morning to set up. To ensure the best experience for our patrons, you may not break down early under any circumstances, rain or shine, hot or cold, day or night. You may begin the break down of your space at 6:45pm Saturday. A waiver to this policy may be requested for special circumstances. You are responsible for cleaning up your space COMPLETELY, leaving no trace of your occupation. Please leave the space as you found it.
Sanitation:
Please take out what you bring in. Leave no trace. This includes water and grease. Fryers must have catch pans/plywood underneath. Fryers and all equipment must be removed by Monday noon. Practice safe hygiene. All vendors must practice Maryland Health Department rules for food safety and MUST OBTAIN AN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY TEMPORARY FOOD LICENSE for this event. Here is a
